Step into a dynamic support role assisting students and teachers across K-12 settings for the 2026-2027 school year. As a dedicated paraprofessional, you’ll provide direct support in classrooms or serve as a 1:1 assistant, helping learners achieve their goals and thrive in an inclusive educational environment. This contract-to-hire opportunity runs from August 17, 2026, through June 18, 2027. Successful candidates may be considered for permanent placement at the end of the contract period.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a paraprofessional, classroom assistant, or similar support role in elementary through high school settings
  • Ability to build rapport with students of diverse backgrounds and needs
  • Flexible and adaptable to both 1:1 and group support scenarios
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Must be eligible to work as a W-2 contractor for the full school year
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or ParaPro certification preferred
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and a positive, student-focused attitude

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers with academic instruction and daily activities
  • Provide direct assistance to assigned students, including those with specialized needs
  • Foster a safe and encouraging classroom environment
  • Monitor student progress and relay observations to instructional staff
  • Assist with classroom management and redirection as needed
