Support the growth and development of a 2nd grade student as a dedicated 1:1 instructional aide in a dynamic school environment near Citrus Heights, CA. Key Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or in a similar educational support role
  • Understanding of elementary school classroom routines and child development best practices
  • Strong ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with children
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the unique needs of one student
  • Ability to follow teacher direction and collaborate with the educational team
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 instructional and behavioral support throughout the school day for a 2nd grade student
  • Assist with classroom activities, assignments, and transitions
  • Implement accommodations or modifications as directed by the teacher or support staff
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor the student's engagement and progress, and communicate observations to the instructional team
  • Ensure student safety and respond to any needs that arise during the school day

Schedule Details:

  • 4 hours per day: 11:45am-3:45pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
  • On Wednesdays, earlier start and finish times, but still 4 hours, aligned with the school’s early release schedule
