Teacher's Aide - Clairton, Pennsylvania

Make a positive impact in the classroom as a Paraprofessional for the upcoming 26/27 school year! Two full-time contract opportunities are available—one serving a temporary role supporting elementary students (Grades K-2, 8:00 am–3:30 pm, through at least March), and another long-term opening at a middle school (Grades 6-8, 7:30 am–3:00 pm). In these positions, you'll collaborate closely with teachers and students, offering valuable support in both general class settings and life skills classrooms.

Desired Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or at least 60 completed college credits (required)
• Previous experience working with school-age children or in educational settings preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to assist with classroom activities and follow guidance from the lead teacher
• Flexibility, reliability, and a passion for supporting student learning

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support within classrooms and/or life skills settings
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to implement lesson plans and activities
• Offer one-on-one or small group support to students as directed
• Assist with classroom management and supervision throughout the school day
• Adapt to the unique needs of elementary or middle school age groups, depending on placement
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
