Special Education Para Professional in Clarks Summit, PA

Support students in their educational journey as a Personal Care Aide within a dynamic school environment. Multiple positions are available for a contract role providing invaluable assistance across various elementary, intermediate, and high school settings. You’ll work onsite, engaging with students and staff, and will be placed at the school within the district that most needs your support.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience working as a Paraprofessional or Personal Care Aide in schools is highly desirable
• Preference given to candidates with full Pennsylvania credentialing
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and confidently assist students with special needs, including autism and emotional challenges
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a supportive, compassionate approach
• Must be able to work onsite 35 hours per week, following the academic calendar through June 9, 2027
• Willingness to obtain required clearances and health screenings, including Act 151 Child Abuse, Act 114 FBI Fingerprinting, Act 126 Child Abuse Recognition training, Act 168 Paperwork, TB Test, Physical, PATCH/Act 134, and Drug Screening
