Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or sign language interpreter within an educational environment
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) required
• Demonstrated ability in behavior management, especially with elementary-aged students
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with educators and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation and communication support for an elementary student utilizing ASL
• Assist teachers with instruction and classroom activities, ensuring that learning is accessible

• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and other support staff
