Instructional Assistant - Colorado Springs, CO

As a contract paraprofessional, you'll work closely with teachers and licensed staff to provide assistance to students with both medical and instructional needs. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience in paraprofessional, instructional aide, or similar school-based support roles
• Comfortable supporting students with both educational and basic medical needs under supervision

• Reliability and flexibility to work in various programs depending on assignment

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to teachers, assisting in instruction and activities
• Offer direct support to students with diverse learning needs, both in small groups and one-on-one
• Help monitor student safety and well-being, including assisting with basic medical needs as directed
• Encourage positive behavior and active participation during classroom sessions
• Assist in maintaining organized, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environments
