About the Role
We're seeking three dedicated CSD Paraprofessionals to join our speech-language pathology team and support students with communication needs across our district. In this role, you'll work directly under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to help students build the communication skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.
What You'll Do
- Assist licensed SLPs during individual and group therapy sessions
- Prepare and organize therapy materials and equipment
- Conduct screenings and assist with evaluations under SLP supervision
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Support students with speech, language, fluency, and social communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Help manage scheduling and administrative tasks for the SLP caseload
What We're Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
- Experience working with children in educational, clinical, or related settings
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Background check clearance
Preferred:
- Coursework or certification in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD)
- Prior experience in special education or speech-language services
