Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers with instructional support and classroom management.
  • Foster an engaging, safe, and inclusive atmosphere for students with varying abilities.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support based on student needs and IEPs, as directed by teaching staff.
  • Help implement lesson plans, educational activities, and accommodations.
  • Support students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges in positive ways.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate student progress to teachers or specialists.
  • Assist with routine tasks, classroom organization, and supervision during transitions or activities.
