Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is highly valued
• Familiarity with supporting students with diverse learning needs, especially in grades K-8
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and staff
• Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Strong organizational skills and dependability
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of paraprofessional training or certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the EC teacher to implement instructional plans and classroom activities
• Assist individual students and small groups with academic tasks, supporting both learning and behavior goals
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
• Aid in the preparation, organization, and maintenance of teaching materials
• Support students’ engagement, focus, and access to resources throughout the school day
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transitions as assigned
• Communicate observations and progress with the teaching team as needed
