Instructional Assistant - Concord, NH

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is highly desirable

• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff members
• Flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of diverse learners
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant coursework or certifications a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with classroom instruction and activities, including small-group or one-on-one support
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies as directed
• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records under the supervision of certified staff
• Support students with special needs and contribute to a welcoming classroom environment
• Supervise students during non-instructional times, such as lunch, recess, or transitions
• Encourage positive social interactions and model appropriate behaviors for all students
