Teacher's Aide - Concord, New Hampshire

Make a meaningful impact by supporting a middle school student as a dedicated paraprofessional in a dynamic educational environment near Concord, NH. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and continues through June 11th, 2027, offering steady hours—35 per week—through the academic year. You’ll work one-on-one with a medically fragile, non-verbal student, providing compassionate, individualized care and vital assistance throughout the school day.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Prior experience as a school paraprofessional or educational aide
• Experience supporting children with significant medical needs, especially in a school setting
• Familiarity with G-tube feeding and toileting procedures is highly desirable
• Patience, empathy, and commitment to helping students thrive
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, healthcare staff, and families
• Ability to remain calm and resourceful in situations that require quick thinking
• Flexibility and adaptability in a changing classroom environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, one-on-one support throughout the school day to a middle school student
• Assist with medical procedures and personal care, including G-tube feeding and toileting as needed
• Foster a safe, positive atmosphere that encourages social and academic growth
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to tailor activities and interventions
• Monitor and document the student’s progress and well-being
• Support communication and inclusion for a non-verbal student
