Make a meaningful impact in the classroom by supporting students and teachers as a Paraprofessional for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. Two full-time openings are available for dedicated individuals who thrive on helping learners succeed—one for a temporary role at the elementary level (Grades K-2, 8:00 am-3:30 pm, lasting until at least March) and the other for a permanent position at a middle school (Grades 6-8, 7:30 am-3:00 pm). Both positions involve working closely with teachers and students, either within mainstream classrooms or while providing additional support in life skills rooms.

Key Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or a minimum of 60 completed college credits (required)
• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in classroom support settings is highly valued
• Demonstrated ability to assist in educational and behavioral support activities
• Flexibility to adapt between instructional and life skills environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers with classroom management, lesson preparation, and daily routines
• Provide individualized support and encouragement to students, fostering a positive learning environment
• Support the delivery of educational and behavioral interventions as needed
• Document observations and provide feedback regarding student progress
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to help every learner reach their potential
• Aid with transitions, classroom organization, and supervise students as necessary
