Set within the San Juan Capistrano area, you’ll be based primarily at an elementary school, focusing your support on one student and collaborating closely with educators to assist in both academic and social development. This is a backfill position beginning as soon as possible and continuing through early June of 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 32-40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, with some flexibility based on the school’s needs).

Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within K-12 settings
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Patience, reliability, and dedication to student growth
• Any required licensing or certifications
• Ability to work exclusively on site
• Comfortable providing 1:1 support for elementary-age students

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver dedicated 1:1 support to a student with unique educational needs
• Implement and reinforce classroom expectations and learning plans
• Assist with daily classroom activities, transitions, and engagement
• Support the student’s safety and well-being throughout the school day
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment while working closely with teaching staff
