Qualifications:

• Recent experience working in school settings, preferably as a paraprofessional
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed
• Ability to follow individualized education plans and adapt to students’ unique needs
• Flexibility to support classroom activities and provide one-on-one assistance as required

Responsibilities:

• Offer dedicated 1:1 guidance and encouragement to a 4th-grade student throughout the school day
• Assist with academic tasks, organization, and participation in classroom routines
• Collaborate closely with teachers and special education staff to implement educational goals
• Help manage behavior, encourage positive social interactions, and reinforce skills for independence
• Maintain accurate records on student progress and communicate regularly with the educational team
