This contract position begins August 31, 2026, and continues through June 10, 2027, offering consistent Monday through Friday hours—ideal for those seeking a rewarding role with reliable scheduling.

As a valued paraprofessional, you’ll play a crucial role by assisting teachers and providing essential support to students in academic and social settings. With positions across different grade levels, you can find the perfect fit for your skills and interests. High school roles are from 8:00 AM to 2:15 PM, middle school from 7:05 AM to 2:00 PM, and elementary school from either 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 9:15 AM to 3:30 PM. Each schedule ensures a weekly total of 32 hours.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RI TA Certification or valid CNA with schools experience required
• Prior work in educational or school settings strongly preferred
• Ability to collaborate positively with teachers, staff, and students
• Flexible, compassionate, and able to adapt to classroom needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with daily instruction and activities
• Support students individually or in small group settings
• Aid in the implementation of individualized education programs
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Monitor student progress and support their social-emotional well-being
