Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar supportive role within a school setting is strongly preferred
• Certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) is required
• Proven ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and impartiality
• Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to build rapport with educators and staff members
• Must be comfortable stepping into a supervisory or mediating capacity
• Availability to start as soon as possible

Responsibilities:

• Act as the designated intermediary between teachers and district staff members to facilitate clear communication and prevent direct interaction when needed
• Uphold the policies and ethos of the school while supporting staff relations
• Maintain professional boundaries and assist in de-escalating potential conflicts using CPI strategies
• Observe and report dynamics to administration, providing valuable feedback for ongoing collaboration
• Participate in on-site interviews and adapt quickly to the school’s procedures and culture
