Teacher's Aide - Crestline, California

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting, particularly with students who have moderate to severe disabilities
• Bilingual in Spanish, able to communicate effectively with students and staff
• Comfortable and enthusiastic about working one-on-one with a male high school student
• Familiarity with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Patient, adaptable, and proactive in fostering a supportive classroom atmosphere
• Preferred experience with behavioral support strategies and positive reinforcement techniques

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, day-to-day assistance to the assigned student, helping with academic, behavioral, and personal care needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers and other school professionals to implement IEP goals
• Support the student's inclusion in classroom activities, fostering communication and social skills
• Monitor and redirect behavior as necessary, always maintaining a safe and encouraging environment
• Participate in team meetings, sharing relevant observations and feedback with the support team

This position offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, approximately 30-35 hours per week during school times (7:07 AM – 2:10 PM), running through June 9, 2027.
