An exciting contract opportunity is available for experienced paraprofessionals passionate about supporting student growth and success. This position offers a consistent schedule of 32 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and extending through May 28th, 2027.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• GAPSC Paraprofessional Certification required; candidates pursuing certification will also be considered
• Experience supporting students with Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities (EBD) is strongly preferred, but not mandatory
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teaching staff, administration, and other support personnel
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and helping them achieve their academic goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional, behavioral, and emotional support to students based on teacher-developed plans
• Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior management strategies
• Supervise students in classroom and non-classroom settings, ensuring safety and engagement
• Reinforce lesson content, facilitate group activities, and foster a positive classroom environment
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and classroom activities
• Communicate regularly with educators and families regarding student needs and progress
