Classroom Aide | Daly City, California

Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated Paraprofessionals and Instructional Aides seeking a rewarding contract position for the 2026-2027 school year. Multiple positions are open across various elementary school campuses north of San Francisco. As a valued team member, you’ll work full-time during regular school hours, supporting general education classrooms and assisting students from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children in school or similar settings
• Comfortable providing hands-on assistance, including toileting and diapering as needed
• Flexibility to serve various age groups (TK-K or 1st-5th grade)
• Willingness to complete required paraprofessional training prior to assignment
• Strong communication skills, patience, and a nurturing approach to classroom support
• Ability to commute reliably to school sites; please plan for bridge tolls if applicable

Responsibilities:

• Partner with teachers to provide instructional support in the classroom
• Assist students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
• Support classroom management and encourage positive student behavior
• Help facilitate students’ daily routines, including personal care as required
• Collaborate with staff to create a safe and welcoming environment for all learners
