Discover an opportunity to support young learners as a Paraprofessional in a welcoming school community just north of San Francisco. Multiple full-time roles are available across several elementary schools for the upcoming academic year, running from August 17th, 2026 to June 11th, 2027. Work alongside dedicated educators and help create a nurturing classroom environment for children in Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or relevant school support role is preferred
- Comfortable assisting with general education classroom tasks and adapting support to a variety of grade levels (TK – 5th grade)
- Willingness to help with student personal needs, including toileting and diapering when needed
- Able to collaborate with teachers, staff, and students to foster a positive educational experience
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a caring attitude toward young children
- Completion of required paraprofessional training (mandatory before start)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to occasionally manage commuting logistics, including potential tolls for those traveling from certain areas
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily classroom support under the supervision of teaching staff
- Assist with individualized and group instructional activities
- Support students’ social-emotional and academic development
- Help with classroom organization, materials, and routines
- Deliver attentive care, including personal hygiene support, to ensure every student thrives
