Qualifications:

  • Valid Educational Technician II or III certificate required
  • Experience or strong interest in life skills curriculum and special education
  • Background working with K-5 students in academic or behavioral settings
  • Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with academic, social, and functional skill development
  • Implement life skills curriculum activities under teacher direction
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support as needed
  • Document progress and communicate observations to teaching staff
  • Help facilitate classroom routines and manage supplies
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and positive atmosphere for all students
