Key Qualifications:
- Valid Educational Technician II or III certification (required)
- Previous experience supporting K-5 students, preferably in a life skills or special education setting
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a genuine passion for working with children with diverse needs
- Effective communication and strong collaborative skills
- Reliability and commitment to meeting the needs of both students and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in the implementation of life skill-based instruction and daily routines
- Provide one-on-one or small group support, adapting activities and materials as needed
- Foster an inclusive, positive classroom culture that nurtures learning and personal growth
- Document and communicate progress, concerns, and student achievements to the educational team
- Supervise students as directed, ensuring a safe and supportive environment throughout the school day
