In this role, you'll provide vital support for special education students, contributing to meaningful progress by assisting in both instruction and supervision as detailed in PPT and IEP plans. Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a directly related educational setting
• Holds a Paraprofessional Certificate OR an Associate's degree (or equivalent 60+ credits) or higher
• Comfortable supporting students with varied needs, including potential assistance with toileting
• Collaborative attitude and commitment to fostering positive learning outcomes
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to students as needed
• Partner with classroom teachers and supervisors during instruction and group activities
• Assist with the implementation of special education strategies and accommodations per IEP guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment
• Encourage student engagement and independence
• Support students as needed with daily living skills
