  • Providing support in classrooms and assisting with individualized instruction for students with special needs, as directed by education plans (PPT and IEP).
  • Collaborating closely with teachers and supervisors to create a positive, structured learning environment.
  • Offering individualized guidance to help students reach their academic and personal goals.
  • Monitoring and fostering student engagement and participation.
  • Offering assistance with toileting and mobility as needed to ensure comfort and dignity for all students.

Desired qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional or directly relevant work with special education students.
  • Hold a Paraprofessional Certification or an associate’s degree (or at least 60 college credits) or higher.
  • Compassion, patience, strong communication, and adaptability.
  • Commitment to supporting students with diverse needs in a respectful and collaborative manner.
