You’ll work closely with lead teachers and supervisors, providing essential support to both students and staff. Responsibilities will include individualized and group instruction, participating in the supervision of special education students, and following guidance from Personalized Education Plans (PPT and IEP). At times, providing physical assistance with toileting may be required—your compassion and professionalism will make a real difference in these moments.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a directly related educational support role
• Valid Parapro Certification OR Associate’s degree (or 60 college credits) or higher
• Patience, flexibility, and a strong commitment to supporting students’ individual needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, supervisors, and team members
• Consistent reliability and respectful communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support classroom management and the implementation of learning activities
• Offer one-on-one support to assigned students, adjusting assistance as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate with instructional staff to reinforce educational programs and activities
• Supervise students to ensure safety and engagement throughout the school day
• Provide assistance with personal care tasks as needed
