Some students require support akin to health aide responsibilities, such as diapering and toileting.

These are full-time positions—37.5 hours per week—with schedules typically running from either 7:15 am to 3:15 pm or 8:15 am to 4:15 pm, depending on your assigned building. Qualifications:

  • At least 60 semester hours of college credit, or an associate degree or higher,
  • Or passing scores on the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment (460+) or the SAT (480+ in evidence-based reading/writing and 530+ in math),
  • Ability to provide official university transcripts prior to district presentation,
  • Compassion and patience for assisting students with a variety of support needs, including toileting/diapering as required,
  • Prior experience as a paraprofessional or working with children/adolescents is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Support students with academic, behavioral, and daily living tasks,
  • Provide individualized and group assistance tailored to assigned placements,
  • Foster a safe, inclusive classroom setting,
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff for student success.
