Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students as a dedicated paraprofessional for a specific bus riding assignment. In this unique role, you will provide essential support and supervision for a female student who presents challenging behaviors, including spitting and at times undressing. Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Demonstrated experience working with children or young adults with behavioral needs
• Familiarity with behavioral intervention techniques or willingness to be trained
• Calm, patient, and adaptable demeanor, especially when managing challenging situations
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to document incident information as needed
• Reliability and punctuality to meet early morning and afternoon shift requirements
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 supervision for the student during both morning and afternoon bus routes
• Intervene and calmly redirect behaviors such as spitting or undressing if they occur
• Collaborate with transportation staff to enforce safety protocols and support positive student conduct
• Maintain clear communication with school personnel regarding observations and incidents
• Ensure the student’s comfort and safety while fostering a respectful and caring environment throughout transport

This contract role follows a split schedule: Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM–9:00 AM & 1:30 PM–5:30 PM; Fridays, 5:00 AM–9:00 AM & 12:45 PM–4:45 PM, totaling 8 hours daily.
