Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior experience as a school-based Paraprofessional or Behavioral Technician
  • Competency with behavior intervention, classroom support, or 1:1 student assistance
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training completed or willingness to obtain
  • Experience collaborating with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) highly desirable
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work full-time, maintaining reliability and professionalism

Responsibilities:

  • Support students individually or in small groups with behavioral and academic needs
  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA staff
  • Assist teachers with classroom management and positive behavioral support
  • Record and report data on student behavior and progress
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required training
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students
