Several placements are available for the 2024-2027 school years, including roles in elementary and high school environments.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
- At least 1 full year of hands-on experience in special education (SPED) classrooms
- Strong preference for candidates with significant or severe caseload exposure
- Two completed professional RefAssured references are mandatory for consideration
- Readiness to provide location details during the application process
- Must be willing to undergo district-required fingerprinting immediately upon offer acceptance (note: any felony or misdemeanor charges are disqualifying)
- Reliable personal transportation is essential; public transit or ride-share options do not qualify
- Flexibility to be assigned or reassigned to different school sites or age groups as needed
Responsiblities:
- Provide classroom support under the direction of certified staff
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for students
- Assist with instruction, behavior management, and student engagement
- Support with toileting and diapering responsibilities as required
- Maintain a prompt and consistent daily arrival by required start times (7:40am for elementary, 8:00am for middle/high school)
