The center cares for approximately 11-15 boys at a time, offering a unique setting where your consistency and compassion are crucial to both student well-being and team support. Flexibility is key—most shifts fall on weekends or are outside standard school hours, though one traditional weekday schedule (7:00 am – 3:00 pm) is available. Additional shifts include overnights (8:00 pm – 8:00 am) and extended weekend blocks (Saturday 8:00 am – 10:00 pm; Sunday shift times flexible based on your availability). Reliability cannot be overstated; staffing is based on the needs of this 24/7 care environment, and frequent callouts impact student stability and staff safety.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional, Behavior Aide, or RBT in educational or behavioral settings
• Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and authoritative in challenging situations
• Reliability and commitment to fulfilling scheduled shifts
• Availability for weekend and/or later shifts strongly preferred
• Prior work in high-needs or residential programs beneficial

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and group support to students, following individualized behavior plans
• Assist with daily routines and classroom activities
• Respond effectively to behavioral crises using de-escalation techniques
• Collaborate with school staff to foster a therapeutic, supportive learning environment
