This part-time contract position offers 20 hours per week and is conveniently located near Derry, NH. In this vital role, you’ll assist a student attending school in Portsmouth, ensuring safe and supportive transportation.

Responsibilities include greeting and accompanying the student to the bus in the morning, riding with them to school, and performing the same duties for the return trip in the afternoon. You'll be needed to meet the bus around 7:30/8:00 AM for a 10:00 AM return, and again around 1:30 PM for a 4:00 PM return. Your presence makes a real difference in the student’s daily experience, helping them feel at ease and secure as they travel.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar school support role
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with students
• Dependability and punctuality for scheduled pick-up and drop-off times
• Commitment to creating a safe, positive environment on the bus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accompany and supervise the student during bus transport to and from school
• Monitor for safety and provide support as needed throughout the ride

• Assist with boarding and exiting the bus as required
