Instructional Assistant - Derry, NH

You may choose a part-time schedule (Monday–Wednesday) or a full-time contract (Monday–Friday) that includes supporting at two instructional sites. This role operates during the 2026–2027 school year, with specific site details to be determined.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma required (Paraeducator Certificate, Associate’s Degree, or Praxis preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in 1:1 support, especially with behavior management
• Ability to set clear boundaries and maintain an authoritative, positive presence
• Experience fostering student independence within a school setting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to confidentiality, empathy, and professional standards

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized support to a 4th-grade student each day
• Manage and reinforce behavioral goals following established plans
• Build a trusting relationship while encouraging the student’s autonomy
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to adapt strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow district guidelines
