Desired Qualifications:

• Paraprofessional experience in a school setting, especially elementary
• Demonstrated ability to support students with disabilities
• Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living (feeding, toileting, mobility)
• Patient, empathetic, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Work 1:1 with an elementary-aged student, providing individualized academic and personal support throughout the school day
• Assist with feeding, toileting, and other personal care needs in a respectful, supportive manner
• Collaborate with special education teachers and related service staff
• Help foster a safe, positive, and inclusive educational experience for the student
• Adapt to daily changes and follow individualized education plans (IEPs)
