Key Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Paraprofessional or Special Education Teacher in a school setting
  • Strong communication skills and patience working with students of varying abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with classroom teachers and special education staff
  • Familiarity with implementing IEPs and behavior intervention plans (preferred)
  • Reliable, punctual, and organized
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Role Highlights:

  • Provide direct support to students with special needs in a morning schedule, approximately 3 hours per day
  • Assist with classroom activities, implementing accommodations and modifications as directed by special education staff
  • Foster positive behavior and social interactions in inclusive and self-contained classroom settings
  • Support academic, emotional, and physical needs of students as outlined in individualized plans
  • Document observations and progress, communicating updates with the teaching team
  • Help maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
