Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role preferred
- Ability to assist with instructional activities and classroom management
- Comfort working collaboratively with teachers and other staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping students succeed
Key Responsibilities
- Support students with classroom tasks and assignments under teacher guidance
- Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Foster a positive, supportive environment for all learners
- Monitor student progress and document observations
- Help with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and reinforcing lessons
- Encourage student participation and engagement throughout the school day
