Instructional Assistant - Dover, New Hampshire

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum requirement: High school diploma
• Previous experience working in schools or with children/adolescents is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, and adaptability in changing classroom situations
• Ability to collaborate with teachers and support staff
• Three completed references, including your most recent manager, must be submitted before interviewing

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on assistance to students, either individually or within group settings
• Support instructional activities as guided by certified teaching staff
• Assist with classroom management, reinforcing positive behavior and engagement
• Adapt help to meet the diverse needs of learners
• Participate in school activities and meetings as needed

Contract Details & Schedule:

• Ten paraprofessional positions are available
• Up to 32.5 hours per week with schedules aligned to middle or high school hours (Middle School: 7:10am–2:10pm; High School: 7:30am–2:30pm; includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
• Assignments start September 1, 2026 and continue through June 16, 2027
