Classroom Aide | Dover, New Hampshire

Six paraprofessionals are needed for mixed roles—including both 1:1 support and classroom assignments—across middle and high school environments. This assignment offers the chance to make a difference in students’ daily experiences through academic, social, and behavioral support.

The district values dedicated individuals who are eager to foster learning and inclusivity. Previous school-based experience is preferred, but no additional certifications or higher education beyond a high school diploma are required. Your ability to build rapport with students and work collaboratively with educators will be essential to success in these roles.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma (required; no further certifications needed)
• Ability to provide three completed references (including most recent manager) prior to interview
• School or youth experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, punctual, and adaptable

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individual students or groups with classroom activities and assignments
• Encourage student engagement and positive behaviors
• Support teachers in implementing instructional plans
• Adapt to a range of academic and behavioral needs
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with school policies

Position Details:

• 32.5 hours per week
• Middle School hours: 7:10am–2:10pm / High School hours: 7:30am–2:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Assignment dates: ASAP – June 16, 2027
• Contract role working directly with students in dynamic school environments
