A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Paraprofessional to provide essential support to high school students in a contract position. This full-time role starts as soon as possible and continues through mid-June 2026. You will work closely with educators to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for learners.
Key Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Paraprofessional in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with supporting high school-aged students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and support staff
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering student growth and independence
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with instructional and classroom management duties
- Provide targeted support to high school students, including individuals with diverse learning needs
- Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed
- Facilitate both group and one-on-one learning activities
- Support students in developing academic, social, and behavioral skills
- Participate in relevant meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
- Help create a safe, welcoming, and respectful classroom atmosphere
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:40am to 2:30pm. As a member of the educational team, you will play a significant role in shaping students’ growth and success within a supportive high school setting.
