Instructional Aide - Eden Prairie, MN

Qualifications:

• At least two years of college credits from an accredited institution, or an associate degree or higher
• Alternatively, a passing score on an approved academic assessment (ParaPro, ParaPathways, The Master Teacher), or meeting competencies per the MDE-approved grid
• PCA certificate (or willingness to obtain—free online course available, completion in under an hour)
• Ability to provide proof of qualifications and certification for district submission
• Dedication to attending a required orientation, held exclusively on Wednesdays at 1:30pm
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students in the classroom, assisting with both academic and social development
• Collaborate with educators to implement instructional strategies and adapt materials for individual student needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture aligned with the “focus program” objectives
• Support students with various abilities, ensuring safety and engagement throughout the school day
• Maintain accurate records and report on student progress as required

This role is offered on a contract basis, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week through June 2026. Ten positions are available, all fully onsite. The district offers a welcoming professional community and the chance to support transformative student growth.
