Key Qualifications:

• At least one year of professional experience with school-aged children.
• Preferred: Two or more years working as a school-based paraprofessional.
• Eligible candidates will have one of the following:
  • Two years of college credits from an accredited institution, OR
  • An associate degree or higher, OR
  • A passing score on a formal academic assessment (ParaPro, ParaPathways, The Master Teacher), OR
  • Ability to meet competencies on the MDE approved grid.
• PCA certificate required (or a willingness to obtain one—training is free and takes less than an hour).
