Qualifications & Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional, teaching assistant, or in a supportive educational role preferred
• Strong communication skills for interacting with teachers, students, and families
• Comfort working 1:1 with students, including those with unique learning needs
• Patience, positivity, and a genuine interest in early childhood and elementary education
• Ability to adapt to the varying needs of a classroom environment

Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting students with classwork, social-emotional development, and classroom routines
• Implementing individualized education plans and providing targeted, flexible assistance
• Assisting lead teachers in lesson preparation, classroom management, and student supervision
• Collaborating regularly with staff to create a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Documenting student progress and contributing to team meetings as needed
