What you bring:

• Experience or strong interest in assisting children or young adults within an educational setting
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Patience, flexibility, and adaptability to meet changing classroom needs
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or experience in education is an advantage
• Ability to follow direct instructions and support classroom management
• Empathy and a genuine desire to help students succeed

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students under the guidance of certified teachers
• Assist with classroom activities, small group instruction, and individualized student attention
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment
• Adapt instructional materials and reinforce lessons for students as needed
• Offer encouragement, motivation, and care throughout the school day
• Support students with special needs or learning accommodations as directed
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by school staff
