Desired Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, classroom assistant, or in a student support role preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or paraprofessional certification a plus)
• Effective communication skills with students, teachers, and administrators
• Patience, reliability, and a compassionate personality
• Capable of following directions and implementing individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities throughout the school day

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in one-on-one or group settings
• Assist classroom teachers with daily lesson plans and activities
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for students with varying abilities
• Help with classroom organization, material preparation, and reinforcing instructional goals
• Support students in developing independent skills and promoting positive interactions
• Uphold confidentiality and support school policies and standards
