Key Qualifications:

• Highly qualified status by one of the following:
  • Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Para Educator Exam)
  • Completion of at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required)
• Willingness and ability to assist with student toileting and personal care as needed
• Resume and appropriate highly qualified documentation required to apply (candidates without these will not be considered)

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct support to individual students and classroom groups under teacher guidance
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment to help students reach their potential
• Follow specific classroom and site protocols as part of a collaborative school team
• Assist with personal care needs and toileting for students as part of daily responsibilities
• Engage in professional communication with school staff and families
• Work 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on a consistent daytime schedule
