Key Qualifications:
- Highly qualified status by one of the following:
- Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Para Educator Exam)
- Completion of at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required)
- Willingness and ability to assist with student toileting and personal care as needed
- Resume and appropriate highly qualified documentation required to apply (candidates without these will not be considered)
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct support to individual students and classroom groups under teacher guidance
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment to help students reach their potential
- Follow specific classroom and site protocols as part of a collaborative school team
- Assist with personal care needs and toileting for students as part of daily responsibilities
- Engage in professional communication with school staff and families
- Work 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on a consistent daytime schedule
