Your journey will begin with a 90-day contract, working 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with the potential to transition to a direct hire position after successfully completing 422 contract hours. Flexibility is key, as you may select from a variety of school sites, each with a unique team and dynamic student body.

Key Qualifications:

• Must be "highly qualified" by ONE of the following:
  • Passing the Minnesota Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Para Educator Exam)
  • At least 60 college credits (official college transcripts required)
• Resume and proof of highly qualified status must be provided for consideration
• Willingness to assist with all student needs, including toileting, is required
• Previous paraprofessional experience in a school setting is highly valued

Role Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to middle school students
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and administrators to create an inclusive learning environment
• Assist with classroom management and small group instruction
• Support students requiring personal care and mobility assistance
• Foster positive interactions and encourage student independence
