Key Qualifications:
- Must provide a current resume and "Highly Qualified" documentation—either a passing MN Para Educator Exam score or official transcripts showing a minimum of 60 college credits (diplomas or degree pictures not accepted)
- Comfortable assisting students with personal care, including toileting
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with staff and students
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the differing needs and expectations across various high school settings
- Dedicated, reliable, and empathetic in supporting diverse student populations
- Willingness to be considered for direct hire after contract completion
Responsibilities:
- Assist educators in delivering instruction, managing classroom activities, and supporting individual or small group learning
- Provide personal care as needed, including toileting assistance, in compliance with school policies
- Facilitate the engagement and inclusion of students in all educational activities
- Foster a positive, supportive environment while respecting student dignity and confidentiality
- Communicate regularly with instructional teams to monitor student progress and deliver consistent support
