Key Qualifications:

• Must be highly qualified by:
  • Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Educator Exam, OR
  • Completing at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required)
• Experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting preferred
• Willingness and comfort with assisting students who require toileting and personal care
• Professional, reliable, and has strong communication skills
• Able to fulfill a 32.5 hour weekly schedule, Monday through Friday

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom and personal care support to students in center-based programs (Setting 2-3)
• Collaborate with teachers and fellow support staff to meet individual student needs
• Assist with toileting and other self-care-related tasks as needed
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment
• Follow all district protocols and contribute positively to the school community
