Key Qualifications:

• Must meet at least ONE of the following:
  • Successfully pass the Minnesota Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Para Educator Exam)
  • Hold at least 60 college credits (official college transcripts required, diploma or degree picture not sufficient)
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help children succeed
• Ability to adapt to changing classroom needs and follow directions from supervising teachers
• Organized, reliable, and proactive in communicating with both colleagues and students
• Highly qualified documentation and updated resume required upon application

Role Responsibilities:

• Work 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, supporting classroom instruction and student engagement
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development under guidance from teaching staff
• Assist with implementing accommodations, behavior management, and small-group or one-on-one learning activities
• Monitor student progress and help maintain a safe, supportive environment
• Maintain accurate records and follow district protocols
