These contract positions are based onsite at multiple locations near Elmira, NY, providing essential support to students with medical needs and those in specialized education programs. Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification as a NY Teacher’s Assistant (for Assistant roles)
• CNA certification or relevant experience (for Aide roles)
• Prior experience in preschool, educational, or behavioral settings preferred for Aide positions
• Comfortable providing support to students with medical needs, including those who are wheelchair bound
• Experience working one-on-one with students, especially those in ASD or multi-disabled classrooms, is highly valued
• Compassion, strong communication skills, and a patient, collaborative attitude

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and classroom support for students with specialized needs and medical complexities
• Foster an inclusive learning environment, ensuring students have access to resources and assistance
• Assist with mobility, personal care, and classroom participation for students requiring physical accommodations
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and families to implement individualized education and care plans
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times
