Key Qualifications:
- Experience as a Paraprofessional, working directly with students in a classroom or behavioral support setting
- Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training required
- Previous collaboration with BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) staff preferred
- Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced K-12 educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and supervision to students, assisting with academic, social, and behavioral goals as outlined by the instructional team
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of BCBA professionals and teachers
- Assist with classroom activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
- Collect data on student behaviors and interventions to help guide future strategies
- Collaborate closely with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent support
