Take on a vital support role working as a contract paraprofessional in a school-based setting, providing essential assistance to students and staff throughout the academic year. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong behavioral support experience and a background in working with complex or severe student caseloads, especially within educational environments.

Key Qualifications:

• robust behavioral intervention experience in schools is essential
• Prior experience with significant or severe caseloads is strongly preferred
• Immediate ability to provide 2 completed, professional RefAssured references is required for consideration
• Reliable personal transportation is a must (public transit and rideshare not accepted)
• Ability to pass district-required fingerprinting and background check with no charges (felony or misdemeanor), as any criminal record will lead to disqualification
• Flexibility to work across multiple sites and age groups as assignments may vary
• Physical capability to assist students with toileting and diapering tasks as needed
• Punctuality—able to consistently report to work by 7:40am for elementary or 8:00am for middle/high school

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom and one-on-one support to students, including those with complex behavioral needs
• Assist instructional staff in managing and maintaining a safe and productive learning environment
• Support students with daily care tasks, including personal hygiene
• Adapt to assignment changes and collaborate with multiple teams throughout the district as needed

Contract Details:

• Assignment runs from August 11 through May 21, 2027
