Qualifications:

  • Experience in a paraprofessional or instructional aide role preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or paraprofessional certification a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with teachers to support classroom instruction and create a positive learning atmosphere
  • Assist with small group activities, individualized learning, and reinforcing lesson content
  • Support students with diverse needs, fostering inclusion and engagement
  • Monitor student behavior and provide appropriate encouragement or redirection as needed
  • Help prepare instructional materials and maintain an organized classroom environment
  • Offer assistance during transitions, lunch, recess, and other non-classroom times
