Desired Background and Skills:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional in an educational setting, particularly working with elementary-level students

• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal abilities
• Capable of maintaining focus and professionalism in a 1:1 or small group context
• Willingness to commute to a more remote school location

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1:1 support to students to ensure understanding and participation in classroom lessons
• Assist with small group activities, reinforcing lessons under teacher guidance
• Support students with social, behavioral, and emotional needs in accordance with established plans
• Collaborate with teachers and fellow staff to monitor student progress and contribute to classroom management strategies
• Model positive behavior and encourage student independence and engagement
